We handle all the details, from developing a professional design to managing and constructing your project through completion. We create a design to meet your goals and keep that design within a realistic budget. We have state-of-the-art software to offer you a virtual tour of your new space before the project begins.

With our concierge shopping service, we make the decision process easy. Our sales associate will work directly with you on choosing the right products for your home and budget. Selections can be made in our design studio, an atmosphere full of creative ideas, samples, colors and products, or with our associate at one of our vendors’ showrooms. This ensures one-on-one professional and personal selection assistance.

Universal Design

Although our owner, Daryl Kemp, was the chairman of the NAHB’s Certified-Aging-in-Place (CAPS) committee, Blackberry Builders’ philosophy has somewhat changed to now become “homes for life”. By using forward-thinking building methods in our designs, we can ensure our clients homes will work for them now as well as into the future.

Small changes to a design can make a big difference. Changes such as eliminating door thresholds, increased lighting, the install of levers instead of doorknobs, lowering light switches and elevating outlets can all work into a seamless design. One building feature we always include is additional blocking behind bathroom walls incase health issues arise down the road. With Daryl’s CAPS training, he will make pragmatic suggestions at the design stage so you can remain in your home long after your remodel is finished.

Terry and I would like you to know just how pleased we are with everything you and your company have done for us. Our home, as you know, was in great need of repair, not to mention upgrading. You came to us with the skills and ideas to make this all happen. Your personal touch and ideas made it all come together just as we had imagined.

Not only were your workers and subcontractors professional and pleasant, they were also conscientious about the condition of the room every single day.
